We aim to provide growth guidance to expand membership, attract more funding, strengthen deal flow, and improve operational efficiency for established BANs and angel groups. Whether you’re looking to scale or fine-tune your current approach, our role will be to equip networks with the resources and expertise to accelerate growth and make a larger impact.
Amplify
Angel networks struggle with building dedicated communication resources. We plan to fill that gap by leveraging SweBAN’s brand strength to boost visibility. We aim to provide communication playbooks, sharpen messaging, and increase the reach of BANs, enabling them to attract more attention from potential investors, entrepreneurs, and partners.
Meet
SweBAN serves as a meeting point for BANs and their clusters. Our mission is to coordinate forums and events that bring together angel investors, venture capital, and the ecosystem nationally, and also regionally in collaboration with regional and local BANs. Whether online or in-person, these initiatives foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and opportunities that connect the community.
Collaborate
SweBAN plans to develop infrastructure for BANs to collaborate more effectively through co-investment, deal sharing, and cross-network opportunities. We also aim to strengthen collaboration between BANs and VCs, and between Swedish BANs and their counterparts in the Nordics and Europe. By fostering cooperation, we create a stronger ecosystem.
Diversify
We need to work together to find new ways to fill gaps in the investing infrastructure. Our plans are to work closely with our community to explore new concepts and investment vehicles. Whether it’s launching a regional BAN or a vertical-specialized, more diverse angel network, SweBAN aims to bring tools and frameworks to diversify and grow the ecosystem.
Go International
By blending the community's collective experience with international best practices, we plan to help BANs expand beyond Sweden by attracting international members and expertise, fostering global connections, identifying cross-border investment opportunities, attracting international partners, and investing in global ventures.
Measure
With your support and active engagement, SweBAN will collect and synthesize data from across the Swedish angel investment ecosystem, transforming it into actionable insights for BANs. These insights can then be used by BANs for growth, advocacy, and improved decision-making. This will also support BANs in presenting data-driven arguments to local policymakers in the regional economy.
Advocate
Together as one voice we actively champion the interests of angel investors and BANs across Sweden, advocating for better policies, increased diversity, and a more supportive regulatory environment. SweBAN works to shape public policy, promote inclusivity, and advance the role of angel investing as a key driver of innovation and entrepreneurship.
